DANIEL CARR

DIRECTOR

Daniel Carr is the owner and principal of All West Demolition, bringing a unique blend of leadership, discipline, and strategic insight to the demolition and construction industry. Originally from Sherwood Park, Alberta, Daniel combines his experience in business management with a strong academic and professional background.

Daniel holds a Master’s degree in General Business from Louisiana State University Shreveport (LSUS, Class of 2021) and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Union College (Class of 2014).

While launching his business career, Daniel plays professional hockey at the highest levels, including time in the NHL, AHL, and European leagues. His time in professional sports instilled a strong work ethic, team-first mentality, and commitment to performance - values that now define the culture and success of All West Demolition.

Daniel brings a strategic mindset to every project, with a focus on long-term value, client relationships, and operational excellence. His combination of business acumen and competitive drive makes him a trusted leader in the Western Canadian construction and demolition sector.

WARD FLEMING

DIRECTOR

Ward Fleming is a part-owner of All West Demolition, All About Abatement Ltd. and the AWD Bio-Industrial Park in Edmonton. He has been involved in the ownership and management of commercial properties for over 15 years.

Ward holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) degree from the University of Alberta.

He began his business career in 1997 and spent 15 years at Canadian Western Bank, specializing in general commercial and real estate construction lending. Ward has extensive experience in underwriting commercial loans and mortgages, as well as managing branches. His extensive experience in real estate lending facilitated his transition into a real estate developer, and he has successfully completed projects such as the development of a 132-unit, 6-story apartment building on University Ave, near the University of Alberta Campus.

Ward brings overall management, business development and leadership to the All West, providing guidance and direction.

Ward also plays a role in ensuring the growth is managed, the business plan is executed smoothly and aligns with the established goals and objectives of the team.

Ward is President of the Cougar Boxing Club located in the Boyle / Mccauley area of Edmonton.  His family has been involved in amateur boxing and the Cougar Boxing Club for over 40 years.

ASH FENNELL

CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER

Ash Fennell is the Chief Operations Officer at All West Demolition in Edmonton, where he oversees day-to-day operations, ensures project efficiency, and drives the company’s continued growth in the demolition and waste management sector. With more than a decade of experience in Edmonton’s waste management industry, he has built a reputation for operational excellence, leadership, and results-driven project management.

He started his management career at PepsiCo in Edmonton, leading and coordinating the delivery team to optimise routes, uphold safety standards, and improve performance outcomes across the region for over 10 years.

Outside of his corporate career, Ash spent 10 years as a hockey scout, leveraging his keen eye for talent and passion for the game. A lifelong hockey fan who grew up playing competitively, he also enjoys golf, snowmobiling, and spending time outdoors with family and friends.

Sean Carter is a highly experienced professional with a career history defined by project management success, effective team leadership, and business operation excellence. With almost 20 years’ experience in leadership in the environmental sector, he combines a wide breadth of accomplishments with in-depth expertise in budget management, financial processes, health and safety, business development, and process improvements.

MIKE COONEY

ESTIMATING MANAGER

Michael Cooney is a seasoned demolition professional with close to a decade of experience in the industry, currently serving as the Estimating Manager at All West Demolition. His career has been built on a foundation of extensive field experience, having led and contributed to major demolition projects across Alberta and beyond.

Michael’s project portfolio includes high-profile demolitions such as the HSBC Interior Demolition, NAIT Westwood Garage, Black Knight Inn, Misericordia Hospital Emergency Wing Demolition, and numerous bridge removals. His hands-on involvement in these complex, large-scale operations has provided him with a deep understanding of both structural and selective demolition, hazardous material handling, and logistical planning.

For the past three years, Michael has brought this field expertise into the office as Estimating Manager, where he plays a key role in project planning, cost control, and business development. Under his leadership, the estimating department has refined its processes and contributed significantly to the continued growth and success of All West Demolition.
